Privacy at a Glance
These highlights give you a quick overview of our key privacy commitments. They do not replace the full Privacy Policy below — please read the complete document.
Data We Collect
We collect personal information you provide at registration (name, email, date of birth), identity documents submitted for KYC, transaction records, device and usage data, and communications with our support team. We collect only what is necessary.
How We Use It
Your data is used for account management, identity verification (KYC), fraud and AML compliance, service improvement, responsible gambling monitoring and — where you have consented — sending platform-related communications. We do not sell your data to third-party marketers.
Who We Share With
Data is shared only with licensed KYC/AML service providers, payment processing partners, fraud-prevention services and regulatory or law enforcement authorities where legally required. No third-party marketing sharing occurs without explicit consent.
How We Protect It
All data in transit is protected by HTTPS/TLS encryption. Stored data is protected by access controls and encryption at rest. Access to personal data is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis. Security procedures are reviewed regularly.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to your data, correct inaccurate records and, subject to legal retention requirements, request deletion of personal data. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. Exercise your rights by contacting support.
Cookies & Tracking
cbv999 uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, analyse platform usage and improve user experience. Non-essential cookies require your consent. You may adjust cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by cbv999 ("cbv999", "we", "us", "our") and applies to all personal data collected through the cbv999 online platform at https://cbv999.cam ("Platform"), including data collected during registration, account use, KYC verification, payment processing, customer support interactions and general browsing of the Site.
cbv999 is an English-language online gambling information and betting platform designed for adult users. We are committed to handling personal data responsibly, transparently and in accordance with applicable data protection standards. This Policy is intended to be read by Pakistani users and other users accessing the Platform, though it is written in English as the designated language of the Site.
By registering an Account or continuing to use the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you should not use the Platform.
This Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, which govern the overall use of the cbv999 Platform.
2. Definitions
The following definitions apply throughout this Policy:
- "Account" means the registered user account created by an eligible individual on the cbv999 Platform.
- "Controller" means the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data — in this context, cbv999 and/or the Operator.
- "Data Subject" means the identified or identifiable natural person to whom personal data relates — i.e., you, the User.
- "KYC" means Know Your Customer — the identity and age verification process required before certain Platform features are unlocked.
- "Operator" means the licensed entity that operates the cbv999 platform and holds applicable gambling licence(s).
- "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including name, email address, date of birth, identity document data, transaction records and device identifiers.
- "Processing" means any operation performed on personal data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure or deletion.
- "Processor" means a third party that processes personal data on behalf of cbv999, such as KYC service providers or payment processors.
- "Sensitive Data" means personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health data, biometric data or data concerning a person's sex life or sexual orientation. cbv999 does not intentionally collect sensitive data unless required for specific verification purposes (e.g., liveness checks).
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Data You Provide Directly
When you register for an Account, use the Platform or contact our support team, you may provide the following categories of personal data:
3.2 Data Collected Automatically
When you access the Platform, certain technical data is collected automatically through cookies, log files and similar technologies:
- IP address and approximate geolocation (city or region level);
- Device type, operating system and browser version;
- Pages visited, features used, time spent on each page and navigation paths;
- Session identifiers and authentication tokens;
- Referring URLs and search terms where applicable.
3.3 Transaction & Betting Data
For all financial and wagering activity conducted through the Platform, we collect and retain records including:
- Deposit and withdrawal amounts, dates, methods and processing outcomes;
- Bet placement records including market, stake, odds and outcome;
- Bonus credits claimed, wagering progress and withdrawal of bonus-derived funds;
- Payment method references — such as wallet identifiers or partial bank account references — sufficient for transaction reconciliation and AML purposes. References to Pakistani payment services such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah are for contextual identification only; we do not store full account credentials for these services.
3.4 Data from Third Parties
We may receive personal data about you from third-party sources in the following circumstances:
- From KYC verification service providers confirming identity and document authenticity;
- From fraud-prevention and AML screening services that cross-reference details against watchlists or sanction databases;
- From payment processors where transaction confirmation data is returned to the Platform;
- From responsible-gambling tools where a User has registered for a third-party self-exclusion programme.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
cbv999 processes personal data on the following legal grounds:
| Processing Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|
| Account registration and management | Performance of a contract with the User |
| KYC and age verification | Legal obligation / legitimate interests (AML, fraud prevention) |
| Processing deposits and withdrawals | Performance of a contract with the User |
| AML screening and fraud prevention | Legal obligation / legitimate interests |
| Responsible gambling monitoring | Legitimate interests / legal obligation under licence conditions |
| Platform analytics and improvement | Legitimate interests (subject to cookie consent where applicable) |
| Marketing communications | Consent (opt-in, freely given and withdrawable at any time) |
| Compliance with legal orders | Legal obligation |
5. How We Use Your Data
5.1 Account Services
Personal data is primarily used to create, maintain and manage your cbv999 Account — including authenticating your login, processing your bets and transactions, applying responsible gambling controls you have set, and resolving any queries you raise with support.
5.2 Identity Verification & Compliance
KYC data — including CNIC or passport images, address documents and liveness checks — is used solely for the purpose of verifying your identity, age and the legitimacy of your payment methods. This data is processed through our licensed KYC Processors and is not used for marketing or shared for commercial purposes.
5.3 Fraud & AML Prevention
Transaction data, IP addresses and behavioural patterns are analysed to detect and prevent fraud, money laundering, bonus abuse and other forms of Platform misuse. Where AML concerns are identified, we are legally obligated to retain relevant data and may be required to report to applicable authorities without notice to the User.
5.4 Responsible Gambling
We use account activity data to monitor for behavioural patterns that may indicate problem gambling — such as rapid escalation of deposits, repeated failed self-exclusion bypass attempts or significant loss patterns. Where concerns arise, we may proactively reach out to offer responsible gambling tools. This monitoring is conducted in accordance with our licence obligations and is not shared externally except where legally required.
5.5 Platform Improvement
Aggregated and anonymised usage data helps us understand how Pakistani users — whether in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or other cities — navigate the Platform, which features are most used and where friction exists. This informs product development decisions. Individual user data is not used for this purpose without anonymisation.
5.6 Legal Compliance
We retain and process personal data to the extent required by our operating licence conditions, applicable data protection law and financial regulation. This may include maintaining records of all betting transactions for a specified period and providing data to regulators or law enforcement upon lawful request.
6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
cbv999 does not sell, rent or licence personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data sharing is limited to the following categories of recipients:
- KYC / AML Service Providers: Licensed identity and document verification companies that process KYC data on our behalf under data processing agreements. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than the specific KYC task.
- Payment Processors: Financial intermediaries involved in processing your deposits and withdrawals. Only the minimum necessary data is shared. Pakistani payment service references (Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah) are used for transaction contextualisation only — these providers do not receive full personal profiles from cbv999.
- Fraud Prevention Services: Third-party risk and fraud-screening tools that receive transaction and device data to assess risk levels.
- Regulatory & Law Enforcement Authorities: Where cbv999 is required by law, court order or regulatory direction to disclose personal data, we will do so. Where legally permissible, we will notify the affected User of such a disclosure requirement.
- Successors in Interest: In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of business assets, personal data held by cbv999 may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to equivalent data protection commitments.
cbv999 will never share your CNIC, passport scans, selfies or sensitive financial account credentials with unauthorised third parties. If you receive a request purportedly from cbv999 asking you to send sensitive documents via WhatsApp, Telegram or personal email, do not comply — contact support immediately.
7. International Data Transfers
cbv999 operates through an internationally licensed Operator, and personal data may be stored or processed on servers located outside Pakistan. Such transfers are conducted under appropriate contractual safeguards consistent with data protection best practice — including standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms — to ensure that your data receives a comparable level of protection regardless of where it is processed.
cbv999 does not represent that any specific data protection law of Pakistan applies to these transfers. Pakistani users acknowledge that their data may be processed in other jurisdictions and that different legal frameworks may apply. For queries about the specific jurisdictions in which data is processed, contact support.
8. Data Retention
Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, subject to the following principles:
- Active Account Data: Retained for the duration of your Account and for a minimum period following Account closure as required by the Operator's licence conditions and AML obligations — typically at least five (5) years from Account closure.
- KYC Documents: Retained for the period required by applicable AML and licensing regulations, typically a minimum of five (5) years from the date of collection or from Account closure, whichever is later.
- Transaction Records: Betting and payment transaction records are retained for the period required by the Operator's licence and applicable financial regulations.
- Support Communications: Customer support correspondence is retained for a period appropriate to the nature of the interaction, typically two (2) to five (5) years.
- Marketing Consent Records: Records of marketing consent and withdrawal of consent are retained for the period required to demonstrate compliance.
On expiry of applicable retention periods, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised. You may request information about the specific retention period applicable to your data by contacting support.
9. Security Measures
9.1 Technical Safeguards
cbv999 implements the following technical security measures to protect personal data:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit between your device and the Platform;
- Encryption at rest for sensitive stored data including identity documents;
- Access controls ensuring that only authorised personnel with a legitimate need can access personal data;
- Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing of the Platform;
- Session management controls including automatic timeout after periods of inactivity.
9.2 Organisational Safeguards
Internally, access to personal data is restricted on a need-to-know basis and is subject to confidentiality obligations. Personnel with access to sensitive KYC data are subject to appropriate vetting. Security incident response procedures are maintained and reviewed regularly.
9.3 User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Account credentials. Use a strong, unique password and do not share it with anyone. cbv999 will never ask for your full password by email or chat. If you suspect unauthorised access to your Account, notify us immediately at [email protected].
No online system can guarantee absolute security. While we maintain robust safeguards, we cannot warrant that unauthorised access will never occur. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
10. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
10.1 What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, maintain your logged-in session, analyse how the Platform is used and support certain security functions.
10.2 Types of Cookies Used
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Session management, security, authentication | No — essential to Platform function |
| Functional | Remember language and display preferences | Yes (in applicable jurisdictions) |
| Analytics | Understand usage patterns, measure performance | Yes |
| Marketing | Targeted content and promotional messages | Yes — explicit opt-in required |
10.3 Managing Cookies
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair the function of the Platform, including your ability to log in and place bets. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies does not affect Platform functionality.
11. Minors
cbv999 does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18 — or the higher minimum age required by the applicable operator/license jurisdiction. If we become aware that personal data has been submitted by or on behalf of a minor, we will delete that data immediately and close any associated Account.
If you believe that a minor has submitted personal data to cbv999, please notify us immediately at [email protected] so that appropriate action can be taken without delay.
12. Your Data Rights
Subject to applicable law and the legal bases under which we process your data, you may have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by cbv999. You can exercise these rights by contacting [email protected].
13. Marketing Communications
cbv999 may send you platform-related communications — such as promotional offers, bonus notifications and sporting event reminders — where you have explicitly opted in to receiving such communications at the time of registration or via your Account settings.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by updating your communication preferences in your Account settings or by contacting support. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect essential Account communications (such as security alerts, KYC requests, withdrawal confirmations or updates to these Terms).
cbv999 does not send unsolicited SMS marketing to Pakistani mobile numbers. If you receive an unsolicited message claiming to be from cbv999, do not click any links — contact [email protected] to report it.
14. Third-Party Services & Links
The cbv999 Platform may reference third-party services or contextually mention third-party brands — such as Pakistani payment services (Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah) or sports organisations (PCB, PSL, ICC) — for informational or contextual purposes only. cbv999 is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party service. This Policy applies solely to data processed by cbv999 and its authorised Processors.
When you initiate a deposit or withdrawal through a payment method, you will be interacting with that payment provider's own services, which are governed by their own privacy policies. cbv999 encourages you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use in connection with your Account.
15. Policy Amendments
cbv999 reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law or Platform features. When material changes are made, we will provide advance notice via the Platform or by email to your registered address.
The "Last Reviewed" date shown at the top of this document indicates when the Policy was most recently revised. Continued use of the Platform after the publication of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the revised Policy, you must stop using the Platform and may close your Account in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
